    Squirrels chewed the string on previously purchased "rods". I know of no other product that I could use, these are wonderful, perfect size and lightweight. Add some extreme hot sauce and they will last a long time.

    String broke 3/4" from the bead. This is the 2d of these holders I've had. The first lasted a year. This one less than 3 months.
